leveraging geophysical R&D and high-performance computing for advanced seismic imaging and structural monitoring
What we do
We provide research and development services with an emphasis on advanced wave-based imaging and inversion in combination with high-performance computing. While we have a background in subsurface technology for traditional energy exploration and production through seismic data processing and monitoring, we focus our effort on novel solutions that have applications in traditional energy exploration that can potentially be used for new sustainable energy, civil engineering, climate adaptation and structural health monitoring applications as well.
About us
We strive for a diverse team with a healthy mix of people with PhD's and MSc's in applied math, applied physics, high-performance computing, and geophysics with expertise and experience both in wave-based-imaging and inversion-related R&D as well as seismic data processing using both marine and land data. For our launching customer we develop a novel seismic imaging method for which we are exploring new use cases in structural health monitoring and civil engineering for climate adaptation. We have furthermore developed a novel way to automatically and rapidly infer shear-wave velocity (directly related to the strength) of the shallow marine subsurface from MASW measurements of interface-waves that travel along the ocean floor. We are currently looking for potential partners to see how we can further develop this method for use in off-shore wind-park construction and subsurface strength monitoring.
We are proud and grateful to have been selected as one of the few companies to join the accelerator program at YES!Delft in October 2024, one of Europe’s leading incubators on the campus of Delft University of Technology in Delft in the Netherlands. We put particular value in having our office close to Delft University of Technology and make a point of interacting on a weekly basis with students and faculty at the faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences to keep abreast with current developments in this area and stay in contact with upcoming talent.
